1:30 1:45 Discussion of proposed areal coverage Should Texas and Great Plains states be included in this region? Given current definition of the SE region by the CNSS, should Delaware and Maryland be included?

1:45 2:15 Discussion of permanent CUS regional subcommittee Is the makeup of the interim CUS regional subcommittee suitable for dropping the interim? Should we host a web site perhaps by acquiring the www.cussn.org url?

2:15 3:30 Discussion of management structure There are at least 13 seismic network operators of various size within the region and several hundred sensors of various quality. How do these data get integrated? How does funding flow? What is the mechanism for enforcing standards? What does the organizational chart look like. Is the regional coordinator full time and where is the coordinator based?

3:30 4:00 Discussion of siting issues Must consider current freefield networks and current instrumented structures. Need a prioritized list. Must be prepared for 10-20 urban strong motion sensors to be installed in FY2001.
